The Maine Chapter of the US Green Building Council will be holding it's annual awards ceremony Thursday January 22nd. The wood used to make the Awards is reclaimed yellow birch that was salvaged from MooseHead Lake in June of 2008. And was donated by DeadHead Lumber Company of Scarborough Maine. The plaques were milled and engraved by Wright-Ryan Millwork Company and will be give to the recipients at tonights event. DeadHead Lumber Company is a National Member of the USGBC as well as a member of the Maine Chapter.
